“I don't think any of us are normal people.”  ― Wes Anderson

The Royal Tenebaums

2001 ‧ Drama/Comedy ‧ R ‧ 1h 50m

Royal Tenenbaum and his wife Etheline had three children and then they separated. All three children are extraordinary --- all geniuses. Virtually all memory of the brilliance of the young Tenenbaums was subsequently erased by two decades of betrayal, failure, and disaster. Most of this was generally considered to be their father's fault. "The Royal Tenenbaums" is the story of the family's sudden, unexpected reunion one recent winter.

"Don't point that gun at him, he's an unpaid intern." ― Steve Zissou

The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou

2004 ‧ Drama/Adventure ‧ R ‧ 1h 59m

Renowned oceanographer Steve Zissou has sworn vengeance upon the rare shark that devoured a member of his crew. In addition to his regular team, he is joined on his boat by Ned, a man who believes Zissou to be his father, and Jane, a journalist pregnant by a married man. They travel the sea, all too often running into pirates and, perhaps more traumatically, various figures from Zissou's past, including his estranged wife, Eleanor.

The beginning of the end of the end of the beginning has begun. A sad finale played off-key on a broken-down saloon piano in the outskirts of a forgotten ghost town. I'd rather not bear witness to such blasphemy." ― Gustave H.

The Grand Budapest Hotel

2014 ‧ Drama/Crime ‧ R ‧ 1h 40m

In the 1930s, the Grand Budapest Hotel is a popular European ski resort, presided over by concierge Gustave H. Zero, a junior lobby boy, becomes Gustave's friend and protege. Gustave prides himself on providing first-class service to the hotel's guests. When one of Gustave's lovers dies mysteriously, Gustave finds himself the recipient of a priceless painting and the chief suspect in her murder.

Due to the sensitive nature of the mature content in these films, any partial nudity or excessive language will be filtered for the benefit of younger attendees. We will also be airing short behind the scenes clips before each film.
